Hello everyone,

in this AR Newsletter I will combine my macro & conceptual gallery to make it short and sweet. I have interviewed `dibbi who is an amazing artist, please read Bruno Pantone - Una Passione per la Fotografia and give the article some

s. Bruno has great conceptual work in his gallery, make sure to take the full tour.

I have created a new poll in regards to the results I had in my last one. I saw that many people wanted to get help and critique, so please check out Are you interested in critique or help done in a chat ? and let me know what you think.

Something about Macro Photography : I would really really really appreciate it immensely if we can get over the endless discussion that this is a gallery based on a technique and / or the equipment used. Macro is about showing detail and artsy images with textures really do not belong there.... well sunsets do not belong there either. Using the 'tulip' (macro ) setting on a point and shoot camera and taking an image of a ship and then trying to argue with me will not get you anywhere. Again , size matters in this gallery , so please keep that in mind. Thank you !

Create your own visitor map

Calibrating your monitor for viewing photographs correctly:

The strip shows a range of greys from pure black to pure white.
You should be able to see a clear difference between each
shade of grey, ranging from pure black (left) and pure white (right).

Along the top of the strips are alternate patches of black and dark grey.
If it looks solid black to you (look very carefully),
your monitor's brightness setting is too low. Increase it until you can -just- perceive the difference between the grey and the black squares.
