Closed : suggest me a New Years Eve DD !!!

Suggestions are closed now, thank you guys ! Unlike others i will NOT open this to a public poll but decide for myself. I have preselected the best ones and might feature them in a journal or not, but there won't be a poll. I am not going back on the macro rant wagon now but lemme say something, come 2008 .... you thought I was a tough cookie in 2007 , you do not even wanna know how strict I will be on this macro issue next year...  you have been warned !

There were a few artists mentioned in that list who can do much better then the piece that was suggested ( in this case they might get a DD anyway in the future ) and there were some suggestions that had DDs in the last 3 months so I cannot include them .... and then there are those who have tiny tiny images in their gallery .. sorry its a no go on my end 550 min on the longest is my maximum tolerance and fat watermarks that block the detail is no no go too. I prefer to feature QUALITY and I say it again 2008 might come to you with a huge surprise !

Rant over ... wanna see the pre-selection or want to get a New Years Eve surprise ?

I am looking for one lucky person to get THE macro DD of the year 2007 !  I am searching for one special award I want to hand out for the New Years Eve, help me ! Please macro only for this DD unless you have a mind blower that you think needs a DD in a different category, but please focus on macro in first place.

Please suggest me a deserving piece of photography in this journal ( add a link in your comment, thumbs do not work in comments so only add a link in your comment) ! I will look through all of your suggestions , but for the special New Years Eve DD you need to suggest it in this journal so there is no confusion ! On December 27th suggestion time will be over and I will select the top  suggested pieces and post them in a journal, out of the best I will select one lucky shot that will be featured as DD on New Years Eve !

One rule only : The person you suggest should not have had a DD in the last 3 months !

Create your own visitor map

Calibrating your monitor for viewing photographs correctly:

The strip shows a range of greys from pure black to pure white.
You should be able to see a clear difference between each
shade of grey, ranging from pure black (left) and pure white (right).

Along the top of the strips are alternate patches of black and dark grey.
If it looks solid black to you (look very carefully),
your monitor's brightness setting is too low. Increase it until you can -just- perceive the difference between the grey and the black squares.
