This journal will can always access from my main journals, it will provide you helpful links to Macro and Conceptual related articles and journals as well links to FAQs on dA !

DD Suggestions

Macro & Conceptual Photography suggestions Only !

Make sure the deviant had no DD in the last 3 months !

Macro : pay attention to size, detail and focus !

Conceptual : Make sure there is a Concept !

I usually do not respond to a DD suggestion, don't take that wrong but it would take too much time to respond to every suggestion. I either feature the suggestion or I don't. In case a picture was suggested to me by more then one deviant , I will leave the "suggested by " under the DD blank.

Please title your note with your suggestion either DD SUGGESTION MACRO or DD SUGGESTION CONCEPTUAL , I really would like to keep them apart and chances are good I read your note faster when they have a subject line !

FAQ #61 WHAT IS A DAILY DEVIATION ?

The Daily Deviation is a daily staff feature chosen from the galleries here on deviantART.

A small assortment of submissions is chosen each day by a select group of staff members who wish to showcase an image which they found impressive or otherwise interesting enough to deserve being brought to the attention of the community-at-large.

The staff members responsible for selecting submissions for the daily feature often are open to suggestions and individual community members may direct their attention by noting the appropriate gallery director or staff member with your account name (for proper suggestion credit), a direct link to the deviation which you are suggesting and a brief description about why you think the work in question should be featured.

For more information please refer to FAQ 18: Who selects the Daily Deviation and how is it chosen?

Calibrating your monitor for viewing photographs correctly:

The strip shows a range of greys from pure black to pure white.
You should be able to see a clear difference between each
shade of grey, ranging from pure black (left) and pure white (right).

Along the top of the strips are alternate patches of black and dark grey.
If it looks solid black to you (look very carefully),
your monitor's brightness setting is too low. Increase it until you can -just- perceive the difference between the grey and the black squares.
